古人好茶，常以茶会友，作诗，猜谜，赌书泼茶。中式茶文化源远流长，薪火相传，点茶、茶百戏等技艺传承至今。如今饮茶虽已不像古人般妙趣横生，或一人独饮，或与人对饮，却亦将生活的琐碎在一杯茶中释放，回甘无穷。中式茶文化在时代的变迁中发生着形态上的变化，HELLO主理人尝试以目前大众的生活方式与时代特征打造当代的中式茶亭，以满足人们对于传统茶文化在当下生活里的想象。

The ancients loved tea, and often used it to meet friends, compose poems, guess riddles, and bet on books and splash tea. Chinese tea culture has a long history and has been passed down from generation to generation, with skills such as tea ordering and tea plays being passed down to this day. Although nowadays drinking tea is no longer as fun as our ancestors, drinking it alone or with others, but it still releases the trivialities of life in a cup of tea, which is endlessly enjoyable. Chinese tea culture is undergoing morphological changes with the changes of the times. The owners of HELLO try to create a contemporary Chinese tea pavilion based on the current public lifestyle and characteristics of the times to satisfy people’s imagination of traditional tea culture in current life.

茶亭紧邻小百花越剧场，悠扬的曲调，飘入茶亭里，让茶亭也披上了红色的戏服。传统的海棠花纹样象征着美好的寓意，经过设计师的提炼，与中国红一起，蓄势待发，似乎准备为艺术献礼。茶亭外沿的一排座位除了供路人休憩、欣赏演出外，也是连接内外空间的桥梁，广场上的越剧演出与茶亭中的一杯香茗在人们的感官中交汇，发酵出诗意的新中式生活美学。

The tea pavilion is next to the Xiaobaihua Yue Theater. The melodious tunes float into the tea pavilion, making the tea pavilion is also in red. The traditional begonia flower pattern symbolizes a beautiful meaning and after being refined by the designer, together with the Chinese red, it is ready to go and seems to be ready to give a gift to art. The row of seats along the outer edge of the tea pavilion is not only for passers-by to rest and enjoy the performance, but also serves as a bridge connecting the internal and external spaces. The Yue opera performance on the square and a cup of fragrant tea in the tea pavilion merge in people’s senses, fermenting the poetic new Chinese life aesthetics.

天人合一是中国传统的哲学追求，山水成为这一理想的寄托。登山临水，是古人观照宇宙世界的方式，也是归返自我本心的途径。古人饮茶，山水为席，吟诗作赋，不亦乐乎。他们注重茶，更注重饮茶的意境。这种活动逐渐发展为祈福免灾的祓禊仪式，也成了欢庆及娱乐的传统习俗，被人们称作曲水流觞。曲水流觞作为一种古老的茶饮文化，其理念由HELLO设计团队注入到了新中式茶亭空间的核心装置之中。在这个茶亭里，传统茶文化与当下的生活方式发生接连，古老的诗意将被续写。这是我们理解的“新中式”，穿过千年，仍在这片土地上继续生长。

The unity of nature and man is the traditional Chinese philosophical pursuit, and mountains and rivers have become the sustenance of this ideal. Climbing mountains and facing water is the way for ancient people to observe the universe and the world, and it is also the way to return to one’s own heart. The ancients drank tea, enjoyed the mountains and rivers, and recited poems and composed poems, which was a great pleasure. They pay attention to tea and even more to the artistic conception of drinking tea. This activity gradually developed into a ritual to pray for blessings and avoid disasters. It also became a traditional custom for celebration and entertainment, and was known as the Qushui LiuShang. As an ancient tea drinking culture, the concept of the Qu Shui LIuShang is injected into the core device of the new Chinese tea pavilion space by the HELLO design team. In this tea pavilion, traditional tea culture and current lifestyle are connected, and ancient poetry will be continued. This is the “new Chinese style” we understand, and it continues to grow on this land after thousands of years.

“曲水流觞”吧台除了延续古人的浪漫与美好的文化寓意，也为今天的我们提供了新的生活方式与社交空间。这也体现在HELLO团队对空间叙事方式的关注上。视觉，听觉，味觉，嗅觉，触觉，当人的五感被空间充分调动起来，就似身临其境，充分浸泡在这份意境中。身体就和蜷曲的茶叶一同舒展开来了，暂时忘记生活的逼仄感，与周围的客人畅谈其中。主理人坚信，有“根”的文化可以滋养每一个属于这片土地的人，并且在新的时代开出新的花，结新的果。

When people’s five senses are fully mobilized by the space, they feel like they are on the scene and fully immersed in this artistic conception. The body stretched out together like the curled tea leaves And let peopple temporarily forgot about the cramped feeling of life and chatted freely with the guests around. The organizer firmly believes that a culture with “roots” can nourish everyone who belongs to this land, and can bloom new flowers and bear new fruits in the new era.

HELLO TEA BAR新中式茶亭与店门外的世界，似乎来自不同的时空，又透过社区的脉搏连结在同一个空间场。茶亭里的时间过得很慢，水不会冷，人走了，也还会再来。一壶茶，一场戏，这或许就是新中式茶亭出现的意义——滋养到访的每一个如戏的人生。

HELLO TEA BAR’s new Chinese-style tea pavilion and the world outside the store seem to come from different time and space, and are connected in the same space through the pulse of the community. Time passes slowly in the tea pavilion, the water never gets cold, and people will come back again after they leave. A pot of tea, a play, this may be the meaning of the emergence of the new Chinese tea pavilion – to nourish the play-like life of everyone who visits.
