Constructing a city living room, Collecting the Youth Group

EUEU于2021年创立,以构筑「城市客厅」为主旨,打造EUEU CAFE、EUEU BAY与EUEU NEST三大体验矩阵。取天然萃饮为核心,精制亚洲风味饮食,全时段链接年轻族群的生活形态需求。

EUEU was established in 2021, and based on the concept of the “city living room”, created its three major experience combination: EUEU CAFÉ, EUEU BAY, and EUEU NEST, extracting the essence of natural catering, refining Asian cuisines, and satisfying the full-time lifestyle demands of the youngsters.

SORA® 一路协作EUEU从品牌初创到至今已跃升为新的连锁品牌;在今年我们也为EUEU品牌的持续滋长进行了品牌新的规划与视觉的升级调整。

SORA® has accompanied EUEU from a startup brand to today’s rising chain brand. This year, we are going to continue to work with EUEU on its new branding project and visual upgrading.

「EUEU」品牌名取自「ENJOY YOUR UNIQUE TIME」,灵感来源于品牌对当代都市年轻人生活感知的寻回及生活方式的重建。

EUEU was named after “ENJOY YOUR UNIQUE TIME”, and the inspiration came from the reconstruction of life sense and living mode of the contemporary urban young people.

在EUEU NEST的品牌标识中,NEST采用了手写字体,是希望可以体现品牌所追求的一种肆意自由感。通过首字母N,字态巧妙的与巢穴元素中的树枝相结合,将字母化身为树枝,倾斜交错,融入为自然中的一部分。

The “NEST” in the EUEU NEST logo was in a hand-written style, to convey the brand’s pursuit of freedom. And combining the first letter “N” with a nest and twigs, transforming the letters into a natural form and integrating them into a part of nature.

在品牌的整体视觉呈现下,考虑到需要兼容白昼的日常松弛和夜幕的自由放纵,我们在品牌颜色的运用上选择了黄色与黑色的搭配,同时结合品牌产品及元素,延展设计出一系列轻松随性的手绘品牌图形。

In the wholesome visual presentation, taking both the day-time relaxation and indulgence at night into consideration, we utilized the combination of yellow and black colors, mixing with the brand’s products and elements, and further designed a series of Easy and casual hand-drawn graphics.

以筑巢为理念的,饮食社交聚场。

A Catering and Social Interaction Space Based Nesting

EUEU nest是EUEU品牌为匹配一线城市所升级的品牌分支系列。延续品牌概念,我们为此空间融入了「筑」的设计手法;空间设计以「筑巢」为理念,筑是筑造、构建与浇筑的意思,而巢则包含集聚与窝巢的归属感含义。

EUEU nest is a branch of EUEU, upgrading to match with the tier-1 cities. In line with the brand concept, we instilled the design techniques of “筑” (construction). Based on the concept of “筑巢” (Nesting), “筑”  means construct structure, and “巢” conveys the meaning of gathering and a sense of belongingness.


此次的布局相较于EUEU以往的空间要更有趣与丰富一些,我们划为四部分去作说明;外立面从木饰外摆区到链接湖边的区域分别是「原木区」、「棚布+实木」、「不锈钢与水磨石」、「不锈钢鳞片」区域,以蓬布区的半弧为界,外立面被划分为两个区域;根据装饰面的属性可称为「木」与「不锈钢」区。

This time, the layout is much more interesting and abundant than before: we divided the space into four parts. The external parts, connecting from a wooded decoration area to the lakeshore, are respectively the “Timber”, “Tent cloth and wood”, “Stainless steel and terrazzo”, and “Stainless steel scales”. The outside area is separated by the semi-arc side of the tent cloth section as the boundary, and according to the decoration texture, they could be summarized as wooden and stainless-steel parts. 

木区位于室外的右边区域,因场地限制不允许设置外摆区,因此我们「牺牲」了部分室内区域,利用内凹的木条形成锯齿状的角位,营造出舒适的「外摆」空间,将座位嵌入在这些角位里,加上由室内延伸出来的天花与垂钓下的吊灯,还有腰裙的原木「编织」形成一组组舒适的坐区。

The wooden part is on the right of the outside. Due to the restraint of layout in the exterior region, we “sacrificed” part of the internal space, cutting concave wood bars into zigzag positions to create an “exterior region” by embedding seats here. Combined with the expanded ceiling and pendant lamp, as well as the hemline-shape wood, we “waved” a comfortable seat zone. 

正门左侧的半圆形篷布,是位于全场中间点最突出的建筑体,这是我们使用灯光、结构与篷布做出的一个休闲且观感上较「软」的形体。弧形篷布的内部,大椭圆的茶几加上大「编绳」吊灯与背部的发光篷布,形成一个体现空间中「巢聚」概念的区域。

The semicircle tent cloth on the left by the gate is the most eye-catching construction in the center. We intentionally used light, structure and cloth to create a leisurely and looking-soft object. In the tent, there are a large oval tea table, a large weaving lamp and a tent cloth which is luminescent on the back. This area also echoes the nesting concept. 

入门后右手边的「原木」区域,使用大量实木、原木与荔枝面黄金麻的结合,加上发酵罐和实木桌椅,这个区域展现出一种「原生」的休闲感。

Entering, on the right is the “Timber” area. We used considerable original timber, wood and litchi-surface golden granite, together with fermentation tanks and wooden tables and chairs, to generate an imprimitive sense of relaxation. 

抬高区域上的「城市客厅」,下压天花链接由外向内延伸的不锈钢「鳞片」,地面抬高与大沙发的组合,形成一个舒适的多人洽谈区域,最靠里的墙壁饰面与壁炉设置,也营造出一种属于客厅的舒适。

The “city living room” on the elevated area, the stainless-steel scales connected by a downward ceiling from outside to inside, and large couches have integrated a conformable negotiation area. Also, we used wall paintings and a fireplace to construct a comfortable living room. 

往左靠湖边的外立面的不锈钢区,折叠门可将此区域整个门面所展开,不锈钢内嵌绿色水磨石由内向外延伸,加上折叠门打开后室内外连通的座位区,整个门头做出由内向外的冲击感。外墙的不锈钢「鳞片」,凸显此区更强烈的体积感和工艺感。

Going left further along the lakeshore was the stainless-steel part. The folding doors could totally open up the whole area. The stainless steel embedded with green terrazzo expands to the outside, with a connected seat area behind the folding doors, we created a gate section with a strong impact sensation. Also, the stainless-steel scales will emphasize the intense Volume sense and craftsmanship sense.
