新店紧邻西湖,我们尝试让华心更紧密地联系场地的特征,把糖水铺从之前浓重的香港背景中解放出来,积极拥抱西湖。最后我们得到了一个解构的坡屋顶和屋架之下拼贴的香港。我们为了对抗“均质”的饮品空间潮流,希望通过更多的反映地理和文脉特征来强化华心的在地性,这一定是一个有意义的尝试。
The new branch is next to the West lake of Hangzhou,we try to have Wahsum connecting to the side closely, which will help this branch can be“liberated” from the previous “HongKong style”, and further to embrace the West late. By doint this, we had a decontructed pitch roof with collage HongKong below.We try to against the trend of homogeneous restaurant design,hopefully by better connecting and refelecting the geographic character and context, we will regain the“locality”, which must be a meaningful test.

此次项目中,我们还得以进行更多的材料尝试,比如:更耐久的藤编材料,更多样的金属运用方式,以及铝箔纸和亚克力材料的尝试,都非常有意义。
Plus, in this project, we have a chance to do a further material test,for example, a more stainstable rattan,different metal use,the use of arcylic and foils.All of these provide us a unique experience.
