2019年末,我们参与了一筑一事组织的“匠造新宽窄——寻找40位匠人,为老成都造一个新市井”的活动。活动由20为设计师与20个品牌相互合作完成一个线下展览。我们很幸运的与品牌麻研所“牵手成功”。
At the end of 2019, we participated in the activity “Building New Kuan Alley&Zhai Alley———Finding 40 Craftsmen and Creating a New City Well for Old Chengdu” organized by YIZHUYISHI Studio. The event consisted of 20 designers working with 20 brands to complete an offline exhibition. We are fortunate to be “hand in hand” with brand The Pepper Lab.

麻研所是一个极富创造力的冰淇淋品牌,他们的产品将意大利传统冰淇淋与成都麻辣味道相融合,一度成为了火极一时的网红冰淇淋。
The Institute is a creative ice cream brand. Their products combine traditional Italian ice cream with the spicy flavor of Chengdu, and once became a hot red ice cream.
▲ 活动现场,为配合“实验室”的主题,现场的麻研所工作人员穿上了防护服、戴上实验镜。At the event site, in line with the theme of the “Lab”, the staff of the pepper Lab put on protective clothing and laboratory glasses.
从而我们希望吧麻研所这一实验性的品牌文化,延续到此次的移动商店的设计上。最终定下了“实验室”的主题。
So we hope that the experimental brand culture of the Institute will continue to the design of this mobile store. The theme of the “lab” was finally set.

我们通过提取实验室试管的元素,把它作为空间外立面的肌理。通过颜色,平面元素,灯光等方式让它形成一个具有时尚趣味的空间装置。在展示窗口,还有赠送给到现场朋友的试管药剂,里面收集了最经典的四川特色食材。也是麻研所冰淇淋的原材料。
We extracted the elements of the laboratory test tube as the texture of the space facade. Through colors, plane elements, lights, etc., it is formed into a space installation with a fashionable interest. In the display window, there are test-tube medicaments presented to friends at the scene, which collected the most classic Sichuan specialty ingredients. It is also the raw material for the ice cream of the Institute.

▲ 透明亚克力展示柜中放置实验瓶,瓶中展示各种四川特色食材。现场顾客在品尝冰淇淋后,可以随机带回一个实验瓶留作纪念。An experimental bottle is placed in the transparent acrylic display cabinet, and various Sichuan special ingredients are displayed in the bottle. After tasting the ice cream, the customers at the scene can bring back an experimental bottle at random to keep it in memory.

在我们看来试管这样的实验容器,承载着不同的可能性和创新。这也是或者设计和麻研所共同追求的精神内核。正是有着这样相同的品牌理念才使得这是一次很默契和愉快的合作与尝试。
In our opinion, experimental containers such as test tubes carry different possibilities and innovations. This is also the spiritual core that the design and the Institute pursue together. It is this same brand philosophy that makes this a tacit and pleasant cooperation and attempt.
