芒果建筑设计|香蕉咖啡馆

香蕉咖啡位于浙江杭州钱江新城核心区块附近的老旧社区之中，这个社区看起来普通、拥挤，充满了市井气息。设计师试图用强烈的造型语言打破原社区的平静，对原来的市井状态制造一次冲突。也是预示工业革命对于原本平静的人类发展历程的一次巨大冲击和强力快进。

Located in a common, crowded and old community full of marketplace atmosphere, Banana Coffee is nearby the core block of Qianjiang New Town, Hangzhou. The designer tried to break the tranquility of the community with strong modelling language and create a dispute against the original marketplace status, which indicates that the industrial revolution has brought a strong impact and great fast forward to the originally quiet human development history.

该项目面积约60平米，设计强调“动静分合”的概念，即五片曲面钢板以动态方式插入建筑内部，并模糊室外与室内的边界。设计师将其设想为坠落的飞机残骸，打破了原本固化的社区生活状态。它们以解构支离方式存在，成为整个设计的核心视觉点。座位区围绕着它们进行布局，每个顾客在品尝咖啡的同时，可以通过不同角度关注到艺术装置的不同形态，从而保持视觉互动与审美趣味。

Covering an area of 60 square meters, the project emphasized the concept of dynamic and static separation and combination, namely, five curved steel plates are inserted into the building in a dynamic manner, and the boundary between indoor and outdoor is blurred. The designer imagined it as the wreckage of a fallen plane, which broke the inherent living condition of the community. In a way of deconstruction and fragmentation, they became the core visual point of the whole design. Seats were arranged around them, so that audiences could observe the different forms of the artistic installations from different angles while tasting coffee, and the visual interaction and aesthetic taste could be kept.

在施工之中，五片巨大异形的不锈钢装置无疑带来了巨大挑战。为了让工艺最大程度还原最初的设计想法，设计师花费大量的时间在工厂沟通并解决问题。首先，他们在工厂搭建了场地一比一的模型，确保每一片装置的造型最后一次成型。然后是在模型中实验搭建，减少了在现场施工中带来无法预计的困难。最后，由于施工现场无法进行大规模的切割和焊接，也为了保证不打扰周边的居民，因此都选在了晚上施工和组装。

In construction, five huge shaped stainless-steel installations bring a challenge undoubtedly. In order to restore the original design idea to the largest extent, the designer spent a lot of time in communicating with the plant and solving problems. In the first place, they constructed a model of the same-size ratio in the plant, ensuring the one-off molding of each installation. Then, through the experimental construction, the unpredictable difficulties were reduced in the on-site construction. At the end, because the large-sized cutting and welding couldn’t be realized on the construction site, the designer made construction and assembly at night, so as to protect the surrounding residents from being disturbed.

原本完整的金属板经过挤压，被裁切成5片形态各异的造型。其中，3片曲面金属板被安排在入口处，包裹原建筑门头，以吸引来来往往的人群注目。入口左侧的隔墙被处理成三圆合一的镜子，成为每个到店顾客的打卡点，以满足他们的线上社交诉求。

The originally complete metal plate was cut into five different shapes after extrusion. Among them, three curved metal plates covered with the storefront signboards of the original building were arranged at the entrance, so as to attract the passersby. The partition on the left of the entrance was transformed into a mirror integrating three circles, which became the clock-in point for every customer and met their online social demands.

在座椅的设计上，设计师摒弃了不必要的造型和材料叠加，简单的几何造型在精准比例的控制下，展现出了强有力的力量感。户外庭院的座位和只能放一杯咖啡的茶几，让顾客落座后更加关注产品本身。过道之间的椭圆椅子，其吸音棉材质与周边不锈钢的质感和光泽产生了强烈的视觉冲突。中部吧台被横向切开，区隔让顾客行为动静分合。自助台更像是一个黑匣子，吸附在长桌上，强调了它的存在。

With regard to the design of chairs and tables, the designer abandoned the unnecessary overlays of shapes and materials; while accurately controlling the proportion of geometric modeling, the strong sense of power was showed. With the seats and tea tables which can afford a cup of coffee in the outdoor courtyard, customers can pay more attention to products after sitting down. The oval chairs in the hallway form a strong visual conflict with the surrounding stainless-steel texture and luster due to its sound-absorbing cotton texture. The bar counter in the middle was cut transversely, so as to realize the dynamic and static separation and combination. The self-service table sticks to the long table like a black box, emphasizing its existence.
