WutopiaLab应策展人张宇星先生邀请为2019年3月“未知城市：中国当代建筑装置影像展（坪山）”完成了一个名为符号：两个人的欲望都市的装置。坪山展是一次大型专业主题展。展览以谱系化的方式，从多领域和多视角，思考了有关人类物质生存空间的体系化状态，以及新一代未来建筑学发展的方向性等问题。某种意义上，这是一次中国当代建筑学的微小思想碰撞，也是一次泛建筑学的跨界集群反思。
Wutopia Lab was invited by Mr. Zhang Xingyu, the curator of the Unknown City: Chinese Contemporary Architecture Installation Image Exhibition (Ping Shan) to design an installation called Symbol: A City of Two. The exhibition is based on a genealogic structure of the current discourse on the profession and was held for discussions of contemporary pan-architectural development issues.
阿纳斯塔西亚丨Anastasia
我创造了一个6mx6m的微形城市——阿纳斯塔西亚，我试图用空间隐喻两个人的一生。这个城市其实就是人的一生，城市历史似乎很短暂。但从更宏观的视角看，人类则一代代生生不息，这个城市是永恒的。
Anastasia is a 6m x 6m micro city created to imply the life of two persons on a spatial form. The city represents the life itself with a short history, but it could be everlasting on the macro aspect.
首先会有光丨There will be light
在我们出生前一刻，是黑暗，没有寒冷也没有温暖。你有些紧张，会抓住他的手，幽暗通道的墙壁上的孔洞渗出丝丝微弱的光，转角的镜子让暗道的尽头消失，仿佛很漫长。但会有光，越来越亮，那个明媚彩色的世界就要出现了。
Darkness comes first right before we are born, with no coldness or warmness. You might be nervous and trying to hold his hand. Weak light penetrates through the rough wall and the tunnel has no end. There will be light and it’s getting brighter and brighter. A world is coming after the light.
然后是无限的∞丨Infinity comes after
你会看到是诱惑，有的欲望是那么美好比如爱情，但你也会在折射的镜面里看到自己扭曲的脸庞，因为有些欲望是你内心中不敢为人言但又让你跃跃欲试。
无论男女，我们摆脱不了这欲望的纠结，是欲望塑造了我们也是欲望塑造了容纳我们的城市。无论老少，更无法避免在这没有边界的世界里轮回，周而复始，证明这个世界的无穷无尽。
You’ll see temptations and desires, some are as beautiful as love. But you will also see twisted faces on the mirror because there are temptations man and woman are always struggling on and it’s that temptation and struggling made our city as a container, an inevitable reincarnation that made the infinity of world.
红色的救赎丨Red Redemption
你可能在这局促的城市里踉踉跄跄。你会在凸镜里看到这个变形的城市以及无奈。但显然易见你可以发现那个藏在背后的红色的房子。人生总要有这么一个值得奋斗的信念，在这个精神堡垒里可以让你喘息，舔一下自己的伤口。血色人生的里面或许就是纯洁的未来。你可以放松地躺下来，你有些恍惚，怀疑自己的真实性。
You might be stumbled in this twisted city, but you can still find the red house hidden on the back. There must be something you are willing to fight for and you can take a breath and lick your wound in that spiritual castle. Your mind is wandering and you start to question the reality.
白拱廊丨White Arcade
大多数人会坐在拱廊的阴影中，看着周而复始好奇的人走来走去。你或者你们两会不会是其中一员，这时光线从角天窗如瀑布泻落，打在你们头上，你们还认识对方吗，你们还是对方的记忆吗？欲望都已经是记忆了。
Most people would sit under the shadow of arcade, watching curious people passing by again and again. Will you be one of them? Will you still recognize each other and keep each other on your memory?
退场丨Exit
在城市的一面，有着一条窄缝，这是退场的出口。它慵懒地张着眼睛平静地等待着各色人等的退场。不过有时事情也会改变，光线倒着从这里窥探你们这个小小城市时，你会想起科恩的歌词，生命有罅隙，就是光照进来的地方。霎那间你会想起他的。
There is a narrow gap in the city, an exit, waiting for all kinds of people ready to find the way out. Sometimes things change and the light will start peep in the city from that exit. You will think of lyrics of Kohn’s song and at that moment he will can to your mind.
记忆和符号确认她存在过丨Memory and symbol are the evidence of her existence
朋友说他看到了许多痕迹，所有文本都是各种历史文本的镶嵌品，籍里科，蒙克，达利，罗斯科，柯布西耶，巴拉甘和斯卡帕，以及遥远的米开朗基罗。他们都被随意改写后镶嵌在一起变成了这个微型的欲望城市，他们的远大理想和卑微的念头便是这欲望城市的装饰，默默看着你们。
Lots of friends said they saw traces, traces of references of historic evidences. Géricault, Munch, Dali, Rothko, Le Corbusier, Barragan, Scarpa and Michelangelo, they have all been randomly rewritten and become a part of this collaged city, their ambitious ideas and humble minds are decorations.
整个城市，我设置了18个隐喻，我自己都忘记了具体，你们会找出来吗？或者你们会找出更多，我怎们能够看清这世界的所有。罗兰巴特告诉我们，你们的解读会支解我作为作者的权威。最后，这个城市就是你们的了，但也只是片刻。
There are 18 implications in this city. Can you find them all or there are more to be found? Your interpretations will support my authorship but eventually the city will be yours, only for a while.For a moment, the city becomes everything to you. No desires will be failed while you are part of it.
某个时刻，这个两个人的城市对于你们好像是全部，没有任何欲望会失落，你们也是其中的一部分。某个时刻，你们或许在这里看见了自己的一生或者一个瞬间，这个一生或者瞬间便属于这个城市了，她从你们的记忆和欲望获得形态，浓缩成隐喻。她在不同的你们面前好像在不断重复着一切隐喻，似乎是为了让你们记住自己，但事实是这些夸张的隐喻只是肯定她自己确实存在过。
For a moment, you had a flashback of your life and it belongs to the city. It feeds the city with memory and desires, eventually produces implication. Implication goes on and on and wants you to remember it, but all these are just evidence of her existence.
