In June 2017 the lively Peruvian restaurant, Señor Ceviche, officially opened its doors to the second site on Charlotte Street, introducing several new dishes, and an underground pisco bar.

The newly open Fitzrovia location spans on 3 different floors, all with an individual ambience. The ground floor echoes Lima‘s grand colonial architecture, from the deep colour palette to the wood panelling with contrasting architrave details and the brass metal work that separates the upper floor without disconnecting the two spaces.

The upper floor is characterised by a muted colour palette, vaulted ceiling with window skylights and extensive greenery installation to evoke the feel of dining al fresco in the back garden of a Peruvian mansion.

Descending the staircase to the basement Pisco bar, customers can catch a glimpse of the open kitchen before the colours get richer and darker. The basement is characterised by a mid-century inspired home cocktail bar, deep green terrazzo tables and a textured, inky blue, wallpaper.

The overall atmosphere of Señor Ceviche also draws inspiration from Barranco district, the most bohemian part of Lima and home of many of Peruvian leading artists, musicians and designers. The traditional Peruvian colonial style creates a canvas for the quirkier, bohemian interior elements dotted around the space: from the vintage inspired bars and room dividers, to the art-deco wallpaper and lights and the handpicked ceramics and picture frames. All these elements contribute to recreating a dine-at-home atmosphere like you were invited to your artist friend house in the cliff area of Lima.
